Location:In front of Row AA, center. Mics at approx. head level (see taper's notes)
Taper's Notes: Despite assurances from Derek's management that we wouldn't have any hassles, and that there would be a designated taper section, the Strathmore told all the tapers that we would have to tape from our seats, but that we couldn't raise the mics above head level because it would obstruct people's views. Then they told me to move my stand out of my seat to a much better location where the stand wouldn't block people from moving, but they still gave me a hard time about the height. No matter-this is about as good a tape as you can get, in my opinion. There are a couple of loud claps and whistles, but mostly the crowd was respectful. Enjoy!

A typically excellent performance by DTB. Thanks for taping!
Track 10 is Everything is Everything > Fat Mama (Herbie Hancock) > Everything is Everything.

Great show. THANKS, YOSSI! Real nice sound.
This was my 1st DTB show and I was floored by Derek- he commands your attention from the first note to the last, and the rest of his band aint too shaby either. Strathmore is beautiful with great sound, and I think that helped Yossi's recording, because this is one of the best aud's I've heard (and I'm picky). Check out this show, and go see Derek Trucks. Yossi, I hope you tape more shows at the Strathmore. I'll see you there.

Great Show, Nice Hall
This was a great show in a beautiful, state-of-the art hall. I was in the front row, left side and still had a good sound mix. The Band was in fine form and Ron Holloway's contributions on sax were, as always, a nice addition. His opening set also was hot, but quite short (40 minutes).
Thanks for putting up with the hassles and taping the show - one of the best sounding DTB audience tapes I've heard yet on the archive.
